In tragic turn of events, Somalia has been struck by severe flooding, resulting in the loss of at least 22 lives and displacing a shocking 219000 people.
The flood caused by heavy rainfall and overflowing rivers, has affected several regions, across Somalia.
Temporary shelters have been set up to accommodate the affected population, but they struggling to provide adequate living conditions.
Different NGO’s and agencies are appealing for increased support and funding to effectively respond to the crisis and help rebuild the lives of the affected communities.
