Fire Alarm Systems

Conventional Fire Alarms
Conventional systems involve sectioning the building into zones; the most common way is to make each floor a zone. There is a fire alarm control panel in each zone with call points and detectors wired into the panel to alert everyone in the zone of a fire.
Addressable Systems
An addressable system is similar to a conventional fire alarm except that the control panel can tell which detector initiated the alarm. Also, each circuit can have up to 99 devices connected to each detector loop in the system.
Analogue Addressable Systems
These systems are intelligent enough to allow each detector to have its own computer to scan the environment in the area. It then tells the control panel if there is a fire, it was a false alarm, or whether the detector head needs cleaning.
Wireless Systems
A wireless system allows for the sensors and devices to be interconnected to detect fires on your premises. It is an intelligent system that does not require connection through a cable.
